Awards Shoes S.r.l., owner of the Bruno Premi brand, is committed to making its website brunopremi.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We follow the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Level AA), as referenced by the European standard EN 301 549 and by Italian Legislative Decree No. 82 of 27 May 2022, which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act). We recognise that the website is currently only partially compliant, which means that some content may not yet fully meet the requirements set out in those standards.
HOW ACCESSIBLE THIS WEBSITE IS
The brunopremi.com website partially meets the requirements of the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard. Testing was carried out using automated analysis tools, which only cover part of the applicable requirements. A full manual assessment, including keyboard-only navigation and screen reader testing, is currently under way, and its findings will be published on this page.
The areas we have identified for improvement include:
- links containing images whose names cannot be read by assistive technologies, on the homepage and in the colour variant selectors
- incorrect markup of the mobile navigation menu and of the filters on catalogue pages
- a heading hierarchy that is not always consistent
- accessibility labels (ARIA) applied to elements that do not support them
- tap targets that are too small on touchscreens
- alternative text on product images that is present but not always descriptive
Some parts of the service are provided by third parties and cannot be modified directly by us: the checkout process and the cookie notice are handled by the Shopify platform, and newsletter sign-up messages by the Klaviyo platform. We are reviewing their accessibility with the respective providers.
HOW WE PLAN TO IMPROVE THIS WEBSITE
We are working to close the gaps we have identified, with changes to content and, where necessary, to the theme code. Monitoring is ongoing, and this statement will be updated as we make further improvements.
